About project...

The pandemic is causing the biggest upheaval in education in modern world history...

In the middle of the 2019/2020 school year, classrooms, notebooks, textbooks and homework were replaced by electronic platforms, websites, mobile applications and online classes, and teachers and students were forced to switch to distance learning, often without specific guidelines, methodologies or resources at their disposal.

 

Today, more than ever...

Today, more than ever, soft skills are the key to an effective educational process. It is critical that educators know how to communicate effectively with students in an online environment; have the ability to manage and resolve conflicts; to support and increase student motivation; make online learning sustainable and valuable; to avoid burning.

A research report which aims to help map the 12 most important soft skills needed for the effective and successful management of digital technologies in the learning process.

DISCOVERING THE WAY

A supporting tool for teachers and educational experts in the form of a research report, aiming to create a map of the 12 most important soft skills needed for effective and successful managing of digital learning process.

WALKING IN THE PATHWAY

A didactic tool aiming to support teachers and educational staff during the process of acquiring and improving their soft skills, needed for enhancement of their pedagogical work in a digital environment.

SKILLS PATHWAY

A handbook with guidelines for practical application of the research report mapping the 12 crucial digital skills and the training toolkit for their development.

To be effective and function properly in a virtual environment.

To be effective and function properly in a virtual environment, teachers must not only master "hard or basic digital skills" (proper use of the Internet, different software, interfaces, platforms, mobile applications and other digital tools), but also focus on developing the necessary soft digital skills (abilities in terms of: critical thinking, communication, problem solving, creativity and innovation, persuasion, influence, adaptability and cognitive flexibility, emotional intelligence) to respond effectively to new educational challenges.
